This piece was created for a prompt requirement for The University of Arizona’s illustration portfolio review. We were given a quote from Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman, “Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly”. This image was my interpretation of the quote.
