I designed this poster for one of my favorite comedic bands, The Flight of the Conchords. One of their more popular songs “Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros” features their alter egos engaging in a rap battle. I wanted to draw inspiration from vintage boxing posters in the text treatment as well applying a halftone effect on my illustrations of the characters.
